Social media isn’t the best way to scoop up sales as far as digital marketing goes for restoration companies… so what’s the benefit of it?
And what do we always recommend that restoration experts post about? Find out in this video!
Does it directly correlate with getting leads? Sometimes if you’re in a biohazard space, you know, you can make some fun social media videos and Tiktok dances and stuff like that because people are interested in seeing that. But for the most part people aren’t scrolling Facebook, Instagram or Twitter (now X) to find somebody to remediate their property damage.
So in a grand scheme of things, if you don’t have your Google Business Profile, Systems of Optimization and management down pack, you’re not ranking well on SEO, this should be something that you’re not spending a lot of money on.
You should designate one person or your text is like, “Hey, go take a picture. Send me a picture daily or weekly.” but it’s great for top of mind and referral business, right? It’s another branding play and it’s a great backlink for your business.
Make sure if you’re posting, you’re posting things that are relative to the types of services you want to rank for. You know, if you’re in a space that’s frozen pipe time, post a lot about that. Make sure you use the rule. You know, you want to make sure you’re not always asking for the sale.
The last thing people want to see is, “Use us! Call us! Call us! Caught a problem, call us!”. You want to teach people something and provide value with your social media account, okay? You can show off. You can answer FAQs. That’s a great way to start your posting.
Think about the questions you get a lot from whoever it is that you want to do business with and make sure you’re answering those with social media posts, whether it be video or written content or a graphic. All right.
