Well, listen up, because we have some insight! Here is how you can convert that traffic from your website into actual sales. If you have any questions or need more advice, you know who to call!
Hey, what’s up everybody. If you are spending a ton of money on SEO, Google Business Profile to send traffic to your website, and that phone still isn’t ringing, you’re going to want to listen up. Now, when it comes to spending money on digital marketing, we all know that it’s expensive.
But do you know what’s not expensive? Conversions. Converting that traffic into actual sales and making that phone ring. So that’s what we always say. Traffic’s expensive. Conversions are free.
Now, if you’re looking for ways to convert the traffic that’s already coming into your website, here’s a few tips that you can implement right now that may turn things around for you. And rather than spending more money, sending more traffic to your website, you’re going to be able to capitalize on the traffic that’s already coming there.
Number one, you need to have a mobile friendly version of your website. Now, Most people do these days, or you wouldn’t be indexed on Google at all. But want to take it a step further and make sure that the user experience on your mobile device makes it super easy to get in touch with your business when somebody has property damage.
Don’t let them have to scroll through your website or click into your services to call you. Make sure that there’s a big strong call to action right there. And the first thing they see when it gets to your website, along with your company branding and your phone number, so they don’t have to scroll.
Oftentimes they’re already know what they want, and they know what you do. So don’t make it hard to get in touch with you. Number two, make sure that your phone number is clickable. Make sure they do not have to scratch down your phone number on a little notepad and pick up the phone and call you.
Make it very easy. Any friction you give them when it comes to getting in touch with you is going to cause a lot of drop off and conversions. And that might be why your phone’s not ringing in the first place.
And number three, make sure that your website loads fast. Hosting is very important when it comes to websites and you know, as well as I do, when you go to a website and that little thing just keeps spinning, when you go on there, you’re going to leave and you’re going to go to the next guy in most cases. Don’t be that guy. Make sure that you have a fast loading website.
So to recap, you want to convert more of the traffic that’s already coming to your website. Then make sure that you have a very nice, It’s user experience on your mobile version of your website, especially during CAT season because most of the traffic for your type of business is coming from a cell phone.
Make sure your phone number is clickable, and make sure your website loads fast. You do those three things and instead of spending more money on getting more traffic with an agency, you’re going to be converting the traffic you already have into that phone ringing, getting you more revenue, keeping your trucks on the road. We’ll talk to you soon.
