First things first. What exactly is Google business profile? Well, it is a free tool from Google that allows you to manage your online presence for your restoration company all in one place. But why does Google business profile a game changer for restoration companies?

Here’s the deal. You get enhanced visibility. You boost your appearance in the local search results. More specifically, the maps section, the bread and butter for home service businesses, like restoration companies. Now optimization is key to making your Google business profile stand out. You got to complete your profile with very detailed, accurate information. You need to make sure you’re adding high res photos and videos that tell the story of your business and do this on a consistent basis. Always add pictures to your GBP.

Now you should be posting regular updates about your projects, any offers you have and any events you have in your company. Treat it kind of, like a social media platform and make sure you’re linking this to your website. And the big one, make sure you’re getting, managing, and responding to reviews to engage with your customers.

Now you want to take it up a notch, use your Google business profile insights to track your performance. Remember what gets tracked gets better. You need to understand what’s working and what’s not and tweak your strategies accordingly. For instance, your posting frequency.

Now you should be leveraging Google business profiles features like question and answers, and messaging to interact with any potential customers and consider Google ads from boosted local presence, especially Google’s LSA or Google guaranteed program.

And let’s not forget about answering a few frequently asked questions. Can you manage your Google business profile listing on the go? Go. Absolutely! The Google Business Profile can easily be accessed through the Google Maps app on the go.
