You mentioned, I know you talked about the Restoration Brothers understand this, but really it’s an entrepreneur mentality. And I think one of the things that I think you nailed, and you know, listen, we’re talking to you, you’re obviously a really major success story, all of us are either on that journey, or we just didn’t have the balls to get, to continue pushing through those hard times, or even the wherewithal just to take that leap in the first place.
But I think one of the things that maybe helped you right away that sounds like you realized that there is a big margin for error when you’re building a business, because that’s just the reality of it. Unless you’ve got this, you’re blessed with all of these mentors and you’re watching guys like you, and you’re listening to people like me about how to, you know, what to do and kind of having how to navigate problems.
You understand that sales come first and the phone needs to be ringing because sales are going to solve a lot of those problems, or at least cover them up while you’re building your systems. Right?
Yep. They ain’t good. You can have the best system in the world, the best people in the world. You’re still tweaking things. You’re still fixing things. I don’t care who you are. You’re always fixing something. You’re always making it better. And we always just kind of, stayed with three key things. And that was always our driver moving forward. And really forward if you throw in a very easy, simple KPIs.
