Has your Google Business Profile recently suspended? Maybe you just changed your hours, services, etc. Unfortunately this has been happening a lot lately. But the good news is this is due to a bug from Google which has been fixed, the bad news is (as this wasn’t bad enough), it’s taking up to 45 days to reinstate accounts. What you can do in the meantime is triple check all the info on your GBP account is correct, file a reinstatement with legal proof (lease agreement, utility bill, etc.) that you exist in that address you will eventually get your account reinstated.
You may have noticed that in the last couple months, Google Business profiles have been getting suspended left and right. Whether you’re just updating your hours of operations or just breathing on ’em. Funny, Google has been shutting these things down quite a bit lately.
Well, the good news is if you’ve been pulling your hair out, trying to figure out why and appealing it, Google just announced that they actually found a bug within their Google business profile system. Good news is the bug is fixed. The bad news is it’s taking ’em up to 45 days to reinstate some profiles, ’cause as you can imagine, they’re a little bit backed up right now.
So if you find yourself suspended, just triple check the information on your profile is correct. File a reinstatement. Make sure to include proof that you actually exist in that address and Google will get better and you will get your profile reinstated. Good luck!
