We don’t know if you noticed, but there were some major outages with social media applications yesterday.
While we may or may not continue to feel these effects, we just wanted to pop in here and use this time to remind you that this is why its SO important to spread the love across multiple different platforms when it comes to trying to boost your digital presence.
This doesn’t just happen with social media, even Search Engines and other channels can go down at any time. Use this opportunity to make sure that you are being OMNIPRESENT. Need help? We’re here for you! Just reach out or check out some of our free resources to learn more about the omnipresent approach.
What’s up everybody. If you haven’t noticed Twitter, Instagram, and a few other major applications are having a global outage today. This started this morning, very early. So if you use any of those Social Media applications to just share pictures of your food or rant about politics, then no worries. It’ll probably be back up if it’s not already.
But if you are one of those Restorers out there that are utilizing any of these services to market your business, then you are S.O.L., which leads me to let you know again, that you need to make sure that you are taking an Omnichannel Approach to marketing your business.
Do not rely on any one of these services because they are services and they can go down. Even Google can go down. So making sure you’re concentrating on every single channel that your target customer base is utilizing to find your services is crucial. Don’t rely just on Facebook ads or Instagram ads, or posting on TikTok or Twitter to get leads to your business.
You need to diversify that visibility using SEO, Google Business Profile, running Google Ads, and yes, posting on all these channels if it makes sense for your business. Don’t fret, you’ll be able to share pictures of your lunch in no time, I’m sure. Twitter’s going to be back up.
But just keep in mind, these are applications and services. They have no obligation to stay up. So if you want to make sure that you keep the maximum visibility for your Restoration Business, make sure that you’re taking the Omnichannel Approach and putting a presence of your business on every single channel your customers may find you on. Good luck.
