We can’t wait for you guys to hear this new Restoration Rundown Episode with James Hatfield, the CRO of Live Switch.

Whether you are familiar with it or this is your first time hearing about Live Switch, this is a great episode to learn about how it can be a game changer for your Restoration Company.

‘I want to change that to race to the face. So let’s talk about it first from the customer point of view, right? Really, the most important people that we serve. When somebody is going through loss, they’re not just upset – ’cause they are. They sometimes feel shame because maybe they burnt the kitchen down. They’re feeling some things and it’s not always a happy phone call, right?

When’s the last time a homeowner or a business called you in a great mood at the restoration company? “I’m so pumped.” So the first thing we want to do and think about is how fast that we can give that virtual hug like “It’s okay.”

You know when you have someone like, when you’re injured and the ambulance comes, you’re feeling a little bit even better even though you’re still, you know? “My team handles this all the time.” And the faster we can have that engagement- Yes the faster we can start building trust. ‘Cause we sell trust first, right?

So what we’ve historically done is we hopped. We sent our most expensive thing It’s called a free estimate. ‘Cause it’s not free for me as the business owner. In fact, it’s the most expensive, bottom line-consuming thing I do.

Well, now what you can do instead when that quote comes in is your team can send a text message just like we were talking about with 911 call to the homeowner or business owner. They tap on it, and you instantly connect. They see your face. Here comes the trust build and the virtual hug.

“Oh why don’t you show me”, “Oh I’m so sorry, you burnt the kitchen down. Sure you’re feeling pretty frustrated”, Oh yeah. “Well, we’ve seen this before. We handle smoke damage all the time. We can get this fixed, not a problem. We’ll get your insurance company involved. We’re gonna take care of this for you.”

And now I’m recording that entire piece. I’m taking remote photos. Sometimes in small jobs yes and you have it documented, recorded, sent it to insurance, you’re done. You never have to get in your truck.’
