If you use Gravity Forms plugin on WordPress, this message is for you!

There has been a security breach and its important to take action. Make sure you go in and download the security patch. Reach out to us if you need help with this, or any other website matters.

Hey what’s up everybody! If you are using the Gravity Forms Plug-in on your WordPress website then you need to listen up. Recently it was discovered that there is a major security breach happening with older versions of that plug-in allowing hackers to potentially get into your website. Delete, add users, and do all kinds of nefarious things, possibly take down your Restoration website.

And I know Gravity Forms is a very popular plug-in to use for your contact forms on a website so if you are using it, there is a security patch that was released in a recent update. All you need to do is get into the backend of your website and update that plug-in, and you should be good to go. Also as a general rule of thumb, you should have some sort of process for regularly updating your WordPress website and have a backup solution.

So if you don’t have either of those things and you’re using Gravity Forms, you need to make sure that your hosting company is doing active malware scanning. If you have any questions about WordPress websites or updating, or malware scanning, please reach out to us over here at Ironclad Restoration Marketing. We’ll get you on the right track. Good luck!
