Restoration Contractors and businesses handle the current slow business period? And then the second part of that is, what can they do to stay afloat and prepare for the busy season?

So, it might be counterintuitive to everybody here and you may have heard someone say this before but in the slow season that’s the time it’s time to ramp up. And from a Digital Marketing perspective that’s the time that you should have already been putting away money whether it’s ad spend or just allocating resources to being able to stay afloat. Because what happens when it’s slow is everybody tightens up, right?

Henry Ford said, “If you if you take taking money away from marketing when you’re slow is like taking the batteries outta your watch to save time.” So in my opinion, that’s the time to really ramp up your visibility from my perspective. I’ll speak about online because that’s what we do here from a Digital Marketing perspective, it’s time to spend and really just kinda look ahead.

Your Marketing Strategy is gonna be moving forward from there. So, I know it sounds weird and money might be tight but that’s something you need to look into. There’s a lot of free things you can do to ramp up your marketing into for hours and hours, and hours. But one of the specific things would be you know taking a look at your Google Business Profile, taking a really good hard look at your online profile in general. Your blueprint that you have for your business.

If you don’t have an SEO strategy, it you’re probably a little bit too late right now to start now. But I think if you start that now, start putting those things into place. As far as allocating resources and getting your online visibility going now, you’re gonna be in a really healthy shape for next year when you have these ebbs and flows. But I will say that your competition is doing- is in the same boat as you, plus they do have that large footprint, and they’re spending the money to get out there and you guys can start casting a little bit more of a a centralized net per se for getting leads into your business and just kinda keep you guys afloat.
