Why should someone do business with you vs your competition? This is why your USP (Unique Selling Proposition) is so important. Do you offer 24/7 emergency service? Do you have live chat on your website? Do you follow up when you say you are going to follow up? Being “run of the mill” won’t cut it. So what is your USP?

Hey, what’s up guys? As a restoration business, you should be showcasing your USP. We talk about it all the time. Your Unique Selling Proposition, why should someone do business with you versus your competition. Well, we can talk about USP all we want, but we need to be about USP, so that means, if you are offering 24 hour emergency service, if you have 24 hour live chat capabilities on your website, then you need to make sure that you have the infrastructure in place to make sure you’re following up with those leads, you’re answering those calls and you’re answering those messages.

So don’t just talk about your USP. You gotta be about it. If you want reviews and you want people to refer your business when they have property damage, you need to make sure that you are walking the walk and talking the talk. So make sure you have somebody there answering those live chats, answering your Google Business profile messages and more often, just show up when you’re supposed to show up, answer the phone, return voicemails within 15 minutes, and you’ll see your lead conversions start skyrocketing and possibly your referral rates.
