How well do you know your numbers? In this clip from our recent Restoration Rundown podcast with special guest Gokul Padmanabhan (Restoration Brokers of America) talks about one of THE most important factors when it comes to running a successful business and it’s knowing your #’s. This includes knowing what your sales are, what specific marketing channels it took to hit those #’s, etc.
That means if you talk to the top 5% and you say, “How do you generate a 30 million in revenue, or whatever it is, 20 million in revenue?” They will tell you exactly how they did it. It’s not like, “Oh, you know, we’ve been in this town 30 years and the phone rings.” They will tell you, “Hey, we run PPC. All our digital marketing gets X or our two sales guys goes, get this. Our fire chasers go get X amount of revenue. X comes to a referrals. Our TPA work is X, you know, our average jobs is X and this is how many jobs we do per year.” They all define sales and marketing plan.
Listen, everybody, he just said, “you have to know your numbers.” How many times have you heard that on this podcast and in my book? And I mean, you gotta know your numbers. You gotta have a plan and you gotta know your numbers.
