We recently had Ricelli Mordecai from Sales Booster Solutions on our Restoration Rundown podcast. In this clip she talks about what to look for if you are looking to buy into a restoration franchise when it comes to marketing, leads and their brand.

But if you had to give advice to somebody based off your experience, who was looking to maybe choose, to join a franchise, what are a couple things that they should look out for in terms of marketing, and growth? What are a couple things that they should, you know, we know they need to do the homework, but what are like two bullet point, bold things that somebody should look for when they’re choosing a franchisor, cause I know there’s gotta be some really good ones and there’s gotta be some ones that are maybe, you know, not as great and they’re just based on volume as far as getting their locations expanded?

“Well, again for me is, had I known then what I know now, right? I think that is the crush. I’ve had conversations with many people that, they should have not joined. Right? One example was a guy that had a local restoration business and was getting all his leads from plumbers. It was costing him 22 cents on the dollar to produce those leads, but he was getting a steady flow of income making close to 800,000 a year which was a good living for what he wanted to create with his company. And then franchise fee to join a system without asking how many leads will I be expecting by joining you? What does your brand represent in my marketplace? I think that, that should be one thing that you should research right away. How do people view that particular brand in my marketplace?”
