Are you struggling to get Google reviews?
In this video we show you step by step how to make a Google review QR code using Canva which is free and how to get the Google review link in your Google Business Profile account. Then just give the QR code to your team so they can have your customer scan the code and leave you that 5 star Google review.
What’s up, everybody. Welcome to the Ironclad Marketing Minute. My name is Benjamin Ricciardi with Ironclad Restoration Marketing, and we help restoration business owners get more sales by getting their internet marketing right. Today, I’m going to give you a quick tip on how you can help your technicians get more Google reviews for your restoration business.
Now, the first thing I’m going to do is I’m going to share my screen with you. So if you’re just listening to this on the audio version, you’re going to want to go check out the video version on our and ours website or on our YouTube channel. We’re going to share the screen here and I’m going to introduce you to a program, one of my favorite online digital marketing tools, and it’s called Canva.
Canva is a free or paid for graphic design program. That you can create anything you can think of from logos, a social media post, all the way to Google business posting and anything in between. As far as graphic design, it’s very user friendly. You need little to no technical knowledge to be able to use their interface.
And one of the really cool things that Canva allows you to do is create custom QR codes for your business. So someone can leave you a Google review. Now, one thing that works pretty well for technicians is having a graphic on their phone that they can show a happy customer right at the end of the job, that the customer can scan and take them right to your Google review page, and now I’m going to show you how to do that.
So if you don’t have Canva, go ahead and sign up for it. It’s free, and you can navigate their interface a little bit, and you’ll find that you will end up liking this program quite well. So what first thing you want to do is go ahead and create a design. I like to go for logo for this. It’s a pre made template.
As far as the size of your canvas goes and over here on the left, once this loads here, you’re going to see an area here that says apps in the search section. You just type in QR code and you’ll populate a list of results that looks like this. Click on the first one to the left. It just looks like a black and white QR code.
You have an area now to enter a URL. So if you have a Google business profile, you should, if you don’t go watch some other videos and get one set up. But for the people out there that do have one, all you need to do is log into your Google business profile email that you use to create the account or one of your managers.
And down here on your dashboard, you’re going to see a little button, when you expand it, that says, ask for reviews. All you have to do is click on that little button and it’s going to give you a custom review link that sends users directly to your page to leave a Google review.
Now, all you need to do is simply drop that link into this area on Canvas QR code generator and viola, Custom QR code for your technicians or yourself to show the happy customers at the end of the job that they can scan and leave you a Google review.
Now we’re getting a lot of success with our customers and clients that are utilizing this tactic. However, you should be trying every which way possible to get your Google reviews.
