If you are on a shoe-string budget and need restoration leads fast watch this video for our recommendations.
So this client we spoke to, as a restoration business owner. They’re on the middle of their busy season but they have no digital footprint. They’re not getting any leads and they are slow as hell, kind of at a make or break situation and crossroads with their business. And this client has no budget for marketing whatsoever or a very limited budget, let’s say. And they were asking us what we thought that they should do to help get leads right now for their business.
Now, if this was anybody else in the budget permitted, we always are going to suggest starting with SEO which is going to be the foundation of any digital marketing plan and should be the foundation for your business for digital marketing. But as you may or may not know, SEO can take anywhere from three to six months and sometimes even longer in competitive areas to actually bear fruit, which it doesn’t do this client any favors right now.
So the top two things that we’ve mentioned to them to do to get leads right now on a limited budget are pay-per-click and Google my business management. Now the biggest reasons that we’re doing that is if you look at the anatomy of a search engine result, the first thing that you see are the ads. The second thing you’re going to see are the maps listings, which are tied to your Google my business. So by running some pay-per-click ads and a budget permits, having somebody optimize your Google business and work on that consistently, you’re able to take up those top two spaces on a search engine.
Get a little bit of that real estate that start generating some leads, which in turn should help you start to be able to generate more of a substantial marketing budget to then implement search engine optimization, to start building that foundation and get more consistent leads and organic leads from SEO are the best kind, because you’re not paying for them.
So if you’re struggling and you’re in a similar situation where budget is kind of low, you don’t have any work, two things that you need to do is look into pay-per-click and looking at Google my business management, and you should be able to get yourself some leads right now and start building up a significant marketing budget to really get out there and get as many leads as possible.
Check it out, look into it. We’ve made a ton of videos on how to do those things from start to finish. If you don’t have the money to hire an agency to do it or go to Amazon and check out my book, the no BS guide to internet marketing for restoration contractors, I literally have a chapter on each one of those things, walking you through step-by-step how to implement Google my business with your restoration business and how to properly manage pay-per-click for your restoration business.
