Having the right keywords on your restoration website is the foundation of getting visible in search engines. In this video, we show you some super easy steps to find those keywords.

Today I’m going to teach you how to conduct keyword research to position your website at the top of search engines with the proper on-page content. Now, to determine what your customers are searching for when they need your services, there’s a number of tools you can use. Some are free, some costs to have a monthly fee associated with them. Some of the better ones are Google Ads, keyword and SEM Rush. For the purposes of today, we’re going to try a free one through Google Ad planner.

So the first thing you’re going to need to do is develop a list of all the services that you provide for your restoration business. Save it in a document. Number two, develop a list of the cities that you serve and the cities that you want to serve and get the leads from, and save that in another document. Next, you’re going to go to merge words.com, paste your list of cities in column one, paste your list of services in column two, hit the merge button and magically, you’re going to get a jet generated list of all of your services combined with all of the cities that you want to get those top level search engine results for, for your restoration business.

Now, with that, you’re going to want to go to google.com search keyword tool, the Google keyword tool, or you can go directly to the link. If you can see this from the video that you’re watching, you’re going to have to have a Google account to get that done. You’re going to click an area that says get search volume in forecast, paste that list of merged keywords that you just got from merge works.com into the word or phrase box. And you’re now going to see a list of each of the keywords in your industry with a search volume, which is basically the amount of search, the volume of search that goes towards that specific keyword in that area. You’re going to sort that list from greatest to smallest. And obviously, you want to concentrate on the higher volume keywords down to the low volume, but you don’t want to neglect those low volume keywords because typically they’re super specific.

Now, if you want a list of all of these keywords, I’ve already done all this work for you in the industry. We serve the restoration niche so needless to say, we’ve done this quite a handful of times. If you’re looking for it, just for follow the link in the post below or check out the link in our bio. We’ll send you all of the keywords in your industry. You just are going to need to add your specific cities to it.
