Hurricane season preparedness is important, and that couldn’t be truer for restoration companies!
We know that hurricane season is when a lot of restoration companies get really busy, and it’s important to be prepared for that ahead of time. A big part of being prepared is making sure that people can find you when the storm passes, which makes digital marketing an important piece of the puzzle. Don’t wait ‘til the last minute to put yourself out there and get left in the dust- because good marketing does take TIME! So reach out to us with any questions, be prepared, be safe, and stay busy this hurricane season!
What’s up, everybody? CAT Season is right around the corner, and if you live in South Florida like I do, then you know that you need to be prepared when hurricane season comes around. You need to stock up on batteries, food, water, gas, and all the supplies you need to survive should a named storm hit your area.
But if you are a restoration company that provides storm damage restoration or other types of property damage restoration during CAT Season, then you need to be prepared in a uniquely different way. Now, cat season provides. A lot of challenges for the restoration industry. One being this huge increase in demand.
But when it comes to digital marketing, your online visibility is key during these times of high demand, making sure that you’re ranked on the first page of Google in the map section, organic section, and you’re running a strategic LSA or Google ads campaign. is fundamental in getting those leads during a named storm.
But just like anything else in life, you can’t start during cat season trying to rank online. Well, that’d be like trying to get your beach body ready on June 1st. No, it takes months and months of planning and strategy to make sure your business is visible to all those people in your community that need your help.
When a name storm hits. So, implementing SEO, Google Business Profile Management, to make sure you have those organic rankings, and maps rankings, can take months to happen. So, if you haven’t prepared, and you haven’t got your company positioned online well, on the organic section, then you can still compete by using Google ads or LSA to get leads during and after a name storm hits your area.
Ideally you start working on this stuff now to be better positioned for next year’s cat season and dominate the first page of Google. But if you are like a lot of people out there and you haven’t started yet and you’re struggling and you’re trying to figure out ways that you’re going to be competitive during this really highly competitive time of year, then make sure you’re implementing Google ads and LSA at the minimum and make sure that you have a budget enough set aside to be competitive.
That’s it! Go out there, get prepared and get ready for storm season because it’s coming. Whether you’re ready or not.
